What will the AI actually cost you?
WPCWP charges per site and never meters your words. Your AI provider bills you directly for what you use. This works out roughly what that bill looks like, using the same per-million token rates the plugin uses to cost each call in your usage log.

How this is worked out
The assumptions, stated
An estimate is only useful if you can see what it assumed. Every number below is one you can check, and the two you are most likely to disagree with are inputs you can change.
Input is counted at 1.5× output
One article is not one call. Research, outline, body, metadata and the humanising pass each re-send context, and that context is charged as input every time.
Rates are per million tokens
Taken from the plugin's own pricing table — the same figures it uses to cost each call in Tools → Logs → AI Usage.
Providers change their prices, and a few of the rates in the table are the plugin's own estimates rather than published figures — it says so where that is the case, and so does this page when you pick one. Treat the result as an order of magnitude, not a quote. The authoritative number for your site is in your usage log, which records real tokens and a real cost for every call.
