Cookie notice
What gets set in your browser on this site, by whom, and what happens if you refuse.
Cookies we set
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to Google. We do not run advertising cookies and do not sell or share what it collects.
IP addresses are truncated before storage. That reduces what is collected; it does not make the tag anonymous.
Your account area at manage.wpcontentwriter.com sets a session cookie when you sign in, and a token if you ask it to remember a device for two-factor authentication. Both are strictly necessary for signing in and cannot be switched off while you use an account. Your currency preference on the pricing page is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and never leaves your device.
Third-party cookies
| Set by | Purpose | Strictly necessary? |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Distinguishing bot traffic and keeping the site available | Yes |
| Tawk.to | Live chat: remembering a conversation across pages | No |
| Google Analytics | Counting visits and which pages are read | No |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Telling a person from a bot on the contact form | Yes, on that form |
| Payment providers | Fraud prevention during checkout, on their own pages | Yes, during payment |
Your choices
Analytics and live chat are active when you arrive, and a bar on your first visit tells you so. You can turn them off from that bar or from this page.
Once you do, no analytics is recorded and the chat widget is not loaded. Google's analytics file is still fetched by your browser on each visit — it is part of the page — but it is switched off and reports nothing.
Turning them off costs you nothing but chat: every page works identically either way.
Visitors in the EU and UK should know that this is an opt-out arrangement: these cookies are set before you agree, rather than after. If you would rather they were not, turn them off below or block third-party cookies for this site.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device. Clearing site data resets it and you will be asked again.
Do not track
Google Analytics does not honour Do Not Track. Blocking third-party cookies, or any content blocker, stops it collecting from you.
