Whether analytics and Search Console are actually connected and returning data, rather than assumed to be.
WPCWP20 — until 31 October 2026
Home / AI SEO plugin for WordPress
It examines what you have published, says what it would change and why, and waits. Nothing is applied until you approve it, and everything applied can be put back.
Whether analytics and Search Console are actually connected and returning data, rather than assumed to be.
Missing meta descriptions, over-long titles, images without alt text — the findings with one obvious right answer.
Internal links that no longer resolve, checked over HTTP within a bounded budget. A link that could not be reached is reported as exactly that, not as broken.
Searches you appear for but do not win, read from search data you have imported.
Every run produces a proposal and halts. Approval is the human step the whole design rests on, and nothing in the plugin can approve on your behalf.
Each finding opens to show why it was raised and what the page's metadata is now. What it would become is deliberately not shown, because it does not exist until the job runs.
Steps, spend, tokens and a deadline, frozen onto the run when it starts so editing a setting mid-run cannot change what was authorised.
Post by post, a selection, or the whole run.
Some findings have no single right answer, and applying one would be guessing with your traffic. These are always reported and never fixed automatically, and no setting changes that:
Duplicate titles — which page keeps the title is a decision about your site. Two pages competing for one search — merge, redirect, rewrite or leave alone; choosing wrongly costs traffic you have already earned. A hidden page still getting clicks — it is set to noindex and still earning, and one of those is wrong. Broken internal links — repointing the link and removing the sentence are not the same fix. Orphaned pages with traffic — where it should be linked from is an editorial call. Originality flags — rewriting until a check passes does not make work original.
Five families: tracking, tags, links, keywords and link building. It reads content and search data you have already imported, and checks a bounded number of links over HTTP rather than crawling your site.
No. An audit produces a proposal and stops. You approve it, and only the findings with one obvious right answer are ever applied.
Duplicate titles, two of your pages competing for one search, a hidden page that is still getting clicks, broken internal links, orphaned pages with traffic, and anything flagged for originality. Each needs a decision about your site rather than an edit to a page.
Keyword findings need search data, so connect Search Console for those. The tag, link and tracking checks work without it.
The audit reads what you have published and proposes. You decide what happens next.
